Navigating the complex world of cyber insurance can be challenging, even for seasoned security
leaders. Many organizations are deemed uninsurable due to immature or incomplete privacy
and cybersecurity frameworks. Without an enterprise-grade solution in place, even existing
coverage can be reduced or stripped altogether. To obtain cyber insurance of value,
organizations need to have both a data map and data classification policy. Then, they can
overlay the appropriate security controls based on the classification throughout the data’s
entire life cycle and flow path.
Watch this webinar to learn more about the intricacies of cyber insurance from the point of
view of a CISO turned cyber-insurance broker. Topics covered will include:
- Cyber insurance from both broker and customer perspectives
- Why co-insurance needs are now common
- How to best approach a policy renewal
- How to engage with your insurance firm following a breach
